Men! Stop Urine Dribble With This Simple Trick

Updated on February 16, 2017

Urine Dribble: Avoid the Embarrassing Wet Marks

Certain forms of attire, particularly business wear, are unforgiving when it comes to noticing wetness. That's not great for confidence.

The following simple trick takes just a few seconds and will become an automatic action within weeks. The majority of men will be asking the same question: "Why didn't someone tell me this sooner?" This is not normally a topic for polite conversation, but there is no reason why it shouldn't be common knowledge.

By the time you finish reading this article, you will have the ability to pee anytime with the confidence of knowing you won't fall victim to those embarrassing last few drops that make their way out only after you've left the restroom.

The power is in your hands!

The S-Bend

Why Do Those Last Few Drops of Urine Usually Get Away?

It comes down to anatomy. We essentially have an "S" bend in our urethra, the tube that delivers our urine. You can shake all you want but it isn't until the surrounding musculature relaxes (just as you walk away from the toilet) that the remaining drops are free to move.

The picture above shows the urethra. Take note; it is important.

The following technique shows you how to clear the urine behind the S-bend, eliminating the dribble. After just a few attempts you will be so impressed you will do this for the rest of you life.

Eliminating Urine Dribble: The Simple Trick

Officially known as the "post-voiding urethral massage," this basic action is painless and takes just a few seconds.

  1. Urinate as per usual
  2. Place 2 fingers behind the scrotum and feel the firm tube that is the urethra.
  3. Use these 2 fingers to compress the tube while sliding them forwards to expel the urine. 2 or 3 sweeps is enough to drain the urethra and ensure no dribble.
  4. Dress as usual. With practice, the movements are natural and quick and will not be noticed at the urinal.

My answer to this problem was to buy a pair of mens underwear that stops the spot on your trousers with an absorbent front layer. They work great! You can find them here: www.brigadiers.uk

I would also like to state that most people that find thelesmves devoid of health insurance are generally students, self-employed and people who are laid-off. More than half in the uninsured are under the age of Thirty-five. They do not come to feel they are wanting health insurance since they're young and also healthy. Their income is often spent on real estate, food, plus entertainment. A lot of people that do go to work either entire or part time are not presented insurance by way of their work so they proceed without due to the rising price of health insurance in the country. Thanks for the strategies you reveal through this blog.

For anyone having a problem with finding what you be pressing, try putting you hand behind the scrotum while urinating and try to feel for it, you should feel the urine running to you penis, that is where you need to push.

Like David, I'm also concerned. I'm only 22 and have been having this problem. As it is, I can live with it, but I'm worried it could get worse.

Just visited the urologist. He said it's fairly normal, and not that rare even in young men. I had ureter surgery done when I was a kid, and apparently that can increase the chances of this.

Thanks so much for this, it has relieved me of so much time spent in the bathroom trying to "dry up".

That said, I am worried that I have to do this at only 25 years old - is this only going to get worse? Does anyone know possible reason why this is happening?

For those of you that just use a paper towel, This does not work, because the urine doesn't all exit, and eventually goes stagnant in your urethra. Which can spread back to your prostate to give you prostatitis. It is important to void the urine completely for this reason.

You have to really get under there where your scrotal sack connects to your crotch and feel around. I just tried this for the first time and it seems to work great. Thank you! I have been trying to find a solution for this for quite a while.

I can't figure out how you reach the ureter in this explanation. Can someone give better instructions?

I've found that a thick paper towel, like Brawny, folded in thirds and stuck in the crotch of the briefs does well.

I thought I was the only one who had this problem...LOL. Glad to see others discussing the dreaded urine dribble problem. I've also tried the Murphy Overconfident Underwear, as well as Stanfield's. Both of them stop the urine dribble spots from appearing on the pants, but the Murphys look like a regular pair of underwear and the Stainfield's are like a diaper.

Great information I'll share it with some friends. I have also found an underwear designed to stop the urine from reaching the pants the murphywear overconfident underwear really work and my girlfriend thought they were regular underwear when she washed them.

Good, useful Hub. When we're young this is generally not a problem. As we get towards middle age it quite often becomes apparent. Moreover, the older we get, the less control we seem to have over the bladder retention; even lifting something heavy can bring on a little leakage if the bladder is full. This, I was once informed is due to a gradual hardening of the prostate gland as we age.

On Australian T.V. there is a current ad about women, and how even laughing can bring about a certain amount of leakage. So women are every bit as likely as men to be embarrassed by that little unexpected wetness.
